The Texas Board of Legal Specialization recognizes attorneys in various areas of law, who because of experience, training and knowledge are awarded certificates of special competence.
There is no certification in Contested Probate Matters. There is a certification in Estate Planning and Probate and two in litigation areas: Civil Trial Law and Personal Injury Trial Law. This office handles litigation involving contested probate matters. We do not handle the creation of wills and trust that an estate planning attorney would normally do nor do we handle normal probate administration not involving litigation. Therefore, Attorney Robert Ray is Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. An attorney who is Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Personal Injury Trial Law must have handled jury trials dealing with many matters. The attorney must also have extensive knowledge of the law of evidence, procedure, and other substantive law involved in the trial of personal injury cases. The Texas Board of Legal Specialization operates under the authority of the Supreme Court of Texas. This program is entirely funded by fees and other charges imposed on attorneys participating in the program. For more information write:
